In April 2026, the launch of the Longevity Societies and Economies Institute (LSEI) marked the establishment of strategic partnerships with five key stakeholders across the government, community, and private sectors. These collaborations are guided by Singapore Management University’s SMU2030 Strategic Plan, which emphasises deepening engagement with government and industry partners to address complex societal challenges. Through the Memoranda of Understanding (MOU), LSEI brings together community-based eldercare expertise and SMU’s research excellence, bridging practice and academia to generate deeper insights and innovative solutions that contribute to building a society that honours and values older persons.
