Women in Community Conference held 26-27 February 2010 at SMU and launch of the Shirin Fozdar Trust Fund website
- The inaugural conference "Women in Community: Change Movers" was held on 26 & 27 February at SMU and funded by the Shirin Fozdar Trust Fund. The late Mrs Shirin Fozdar was a pioneer of women's rights and in her honour, the Shirin Fozdar Trust Fund was launched in 1993 to aid the enhancement and facilitation of the advancement of women in Singapore and the region and under the custodianship of the Wee Kim Wee Centre at SMU from 2009 July. Wharton-SMU Research Centre Agreement
- Signing ceremony held on 10 June 1999 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel to establish the Wharton-Singapore Management University Research Centre. The joint research centre will focus on international business issues relevant to Singapore and Asia, and help establish a research culture at SMU. Preserving Trees at City Campus
- Mature trees were removed from Singapore Management University’s city campus construction site and then replanted on campus after the construction was completed. Among them was a 70-year-old rain tree weighing more than 37 tonnes. The tree was 21-metres in height with a crown 25 metres in diameter. Picture taken at Bras Basah Park on 20 May 2003.
