The inaugural conference "Women in Community: Change Movers" was held on 26 & 27 February at SMU and funded by the Shirin Fozdar Trust Fund. The late Mrs Shirin Fozdar was a pioneer of women's rights and in her honour, the Shirin Fozdar Trust Fund was launched in 1993 to aid the enhancement and facilitation of the advancement of women in Singapore and the region and under the custodianship of the Wee Kim Wee Centre at SMU from 2009 July.     Commemorating its 20th anniversary, the Wee Kim Wee Centre (WKWC) is unveiling the new Wee Kim Wee Room at Singapore Management University (SMU), which houses some of the original belongings of former President Wee Kim Wee and Mrs Wee, and formally launching the Wee Kim Wee Heritage Fund.
