Young scholars from the 2026 Dato' Kho Hui Meng Young Scholars Programme explore education opportunities in Accountancy in SMU

As part of the learning journey component of the Dato’ Kho Hui Meng Young Scholars Programme 2026, participants attended a session led by Professor Yuanto Kusnadi, who introduced the distinctive features and educational approach of the SMU School of Accountancy. Through his presentation, participants gained valuable insights into the school’s innovative pedagogy, industry-relevant curriculum, and strong emphasis on experiential learning. The session also highlighted the school’s extensive industry partnerships, global opportunities, and commitment to nurturing future-ready graduates equipped with both technical expertise and leadership skills. By learning about the diverse academic pathways and career prospects available in the accounting profession, participants were able to develop a deeper appreciation of the discipline and better understand how an education at Singapore Management University can support their personal, academic, and professional aspirations. The programme was held from 14 January to 25 January 2026.
