Ms Yong Ying-I reflects on Dr Yong Pung How’s legacy at SMU's law school renaming ceremony

She highlighted his appreciation for SMU’s distinctive educational approach, which combines interactive pedagogy, global exposure, multidisciplinary opportunities, soft skills development, internships, and community service. Reflecting on Dr Yong’s commitment to serving others, she remarked that while achievements may bring recognition, a person’s lasting legacy is measured by the positive impact they have on the lives of others and their contribution to making the world a better place.
